T.Peterson: "We want to win for our fans"
BC “Lietuvos rytas” forward Travis Peterson knows about the history between his club and BC “Lietkabelis”. Last year the ladder won the LKL semi-final series against the club of Vilnius so tonight’s game is going to be very important.
“It’s going to be very interesting. BC “Lietkabelis” has some really good players. I’ve heard what happened last year so it’s going to be a very special game. I don’t know if they changed a lot during the summer but we will try hard for our fans.” said T.Peterson.
“Last month we tried to know each other better and learn the coaches offensive and defensive schemes. We won two games in a row this season so the start is good. Maybe I didn’t play very well but I’m glad we have both victories.”
“I already feel quite comfortable here and learn a lot every day. All the players are just trying to understand how the coach wants to play.”
In the past T.Peterson played in a lot of basketball leagues in Europe but for LKL he has only good words.
“LKL is a very strong league. Every game is tough. You have to be prepared to fight every time. Even if the teams from Pasvalys and Utena aren’t that well known but we didn’t win against them easily.” said T.Peterson who is scoring 10,5 points per game this season.
