Rytas grabs their first win in Champions league

Rytas Vilnius marked its first victory in their debut season of FIBA Champions League by holding SIG Strasbourg scoreless during three final minutes of the game. Andrew Goudelock’s shot was needed in order to get an 83-81 road win against SIG.

Rytas had a tough start 4-9, but after sometime was leading 29-18. A game turned out to be a dogfight. Despite trailing by five 81-76 with only three minutes left, Rytas were able to finish the night with a 7-0 run. Andrew Goudelock had a major impact for that by scoring the last five.

Martynas Echodas scored 23 points and grabbed 3 rebounds being the most effective player of the game. Mindaugas Girdziunas added 12 and Arnas Butkevicius had 10.
