BC "Lietuvos rytas" team and guard Marc Carter decided to terminate the existing contract by mutual consent.

Vilnius club head coach Rimas Kurtinaitis thanked the player for his efforts.

"I spoke with Marc and thanked him for the professional work.

I do not have any complaints. I just thought that I could succeed in moving him into a point guard position, but that failed.

M.Carter is a good shooting guard, that I told him", said R.Kurtinaitis.

"Although I was in Vilnius for a short time, but the time spent here was useful to me.

I want to thank the team for the opportunity and to wish success in the future.

At the same time, I want to deny "krepsinis.net" reports. There was no conflict between me and the club, we split without anger.

I am pleased that even after the termination of the contract, the club allowed to live in a rented apartment, to train individually in the arena", said Carter.
