Martynas Echodas signs new contract with Rytas
Martynas Echodas will defend the honor of Rytas Vilnius for the next season as well. The capital’s club retained one of its last season leaders and signed a new one-year deal.
The head coach of Rytas Donaldas Kairys was also pleased with the successful conclusion of the negotiations.
"I am very glad that Martynas will play in Rytas team next season as well," said Kairys. "At the capital's club, he will perfectly suit our playing style and it will be a wonderful place for his stronger development."
Echodas admitted that the whole his environment also contributed to his desire to stay in Vilnius.
"It's nice to feel this kind of attention from the fans, the coach and the team management. A very interesting season is coming, so I'm glad we'll fight together again," said the 23 year-old center.
