RYTAS extends Butkevicius and Girdziunas

BC RYTAS extends forward Arnas Butkevicius and guard Mindaugas Girdziunas.

Butkevicius and Girdziunas helped the team to win Karalius Mindaugas Cup and to qualify to EuroCup TOP 8 last season. Both men joined RYTAS in 2017. Last season Butkevicius (1.97 meters, 26 years old) averaged 10.8 points and 5.8 rebounds per game in Lithuanian Basketball League (LKL) and 6.1 points and 4.9 rebounds in Eurocup. He was selected to the 2018-2019 LKL team of the year. Girdziunas (1.88 meters, 30 years old) averaged 8.4 points and 2.1 assists in Lithuanian Basketball League and 7.4 points, 1.4 assists in EuroCup.
