One Team participants enjoy session at Telia Nemuziejus

Rytas Vilnius has started its sixth successive One Team season, with the main objective of using basketball to give youngsters advice about life, to warn them about potential dangers and to help them choose the right path towards important goals.

One Team participants from the local social centre Veliucioniu has a visit in Telia Nemuziejus this time where they were introduced with history of Vilnius city by innovative ways. One Team participants had an opportunity to check different Lithuania famous places while using 3D glasses as well.

Arminas Vareika, the club's One Team Coordinator after the visit at Telia Nemuziejus, said: “Today the youngsters had an opportunity to have a look at the history of Vilnius. With the help of Telia Nemuziejus, it was done in a new and innovative way. We would like to thank Telia Nemuziejus and Laurynas Šeskus for this unique opportunity. The youth should know their history because only then you can understand why your country is the way it is at the moment”.

There will be a total of 10 One Team practices in Vilnius over the next few weeks, organised in partnership with Youth Can, a program that has the mission of providing Lithuanian youth with opportunities to play, learn and grow.
