Rytas Vilnius completes another successful One Team project

Rytas Vilnius has successfully completed its latest project with Veliucioniai socialization centre as part of One Team, Euroleague Basketball's social responsibility program.

Participants were awarded with diplomas during last weeks Lithuanian Basketball League game halftime.

Youngsters were active during the project and had practices in a gym, visited Rytas Vilnius home games, had discussions with Juozas Petkevicius, Chris Kramer, Arnas Butkevicius and Rytas Dance Team.

Coordinator of the project Arminas Vareika had some positive thoughts after One Team season ended.

“It was my fourth season in One Team project and I can say that this year were the best. In every activity we met interesting people and got some valuable advices from them. I’m happy that Rytas Vilnius pays great attention for this project. I believe that we made a change in participants lives” – told coordinator A. Vareika.

There were a total of 10 One Team practices in Vilnius over the last few months, organised in partnership with Youth Can, a program that has the mission of providing Lithuanian youth with opportunities to play, learn and grow.
