Introducing the all new BC Lietuvos Rytas Drum Line!

Music and rhythm play a strong role for both the team and the players themselves in the basketball arena.

Now is you your chance to be an official part of the team! We are in search for 16-25 drummers who are interested in joining this group.

As commonly seen in the USA, most NBA/NCAA teams have a supporting Drum Line which provides the live musical element to the fans – on and off the court.

The BC Lietuvos Rytas are launching their official performing Drum Line which will play in the largest games, in the city center on game-day, in the parking lot, in the concession stand corridor, and anywhere else where Rytas fans might be hanging out.

The BC Lietuvos Rytas invites you to join for 2 free drumming workshops on:

When: November 12th and November 26th, 14-00 – 19:00
Where: The American International School of Vilnius (located in old town, free parking is available)
Cost: Free but attendees must RSVP to the director Aaron Spevak at aaronspevak@gmail.com.

Everyone from ‘advanced’ to ‘beginning’ level players are welcome to join our “interest workshops”. Here you will get to play on state-of-the-art, American-made marching drums and learn about how each type of drum is played. It is not required to attend both workshops, but is highly recommended for players who wish to be considered for an official position on the Drum Line.

(***It is recommended that attendees bring their own hearing protection. Attendees will be subject to high levels of sound volume and BC Lietuvos Rytas is not responsible for hearing damage***)

It is not required, but highly recommended to prepare these materials for the workshops. If you cant read the music, still come! We’ll show you how!

If selected to be and official performing member of the Lietuvos Rytas Drum Line, you will be required to attend the strong majority of the rehearsals and performances.

You must RSVP to director Aaron Spevak as the security office will need your name in advance to enter the building on those dates. Please include your name (as shown on ID) and include any names of people who may be joining you that day (ex. Mom, dad, friend, aunt, uncle etc.).

**An ID is required to enter the American International School.** Don’t forget it!
